At the Annual ING Asia/Pacific operations conference and Customer Cup awards held in Bangkok, Thailand, ING’s National Contact Centre (NCC) received two significant awards:
- The Best ING Call Centre in Asia Pacific, and;
- ING Customer Cup 2007
Each year, ING Hong Kong regional office reviews the customer service performance of each of the 12 ING businesses around Asia/Pacific and recognises those that have achieved excellent performance.
This year Asia/Pacific recognised ING Australia’s National Contact Centre (NCC) as the Best ING Call Centre in Asia Pacific. The competition is strong as ING has major insurance and investment management businesses in many countries in the region including Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Taiwan, India, China, Thailand, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
In addition, ING Australia received the ING Customer Cup 2007 – awarded to the ING business which has demonstrated customer service and operational excellence. This is the first time that ING Australia has won the Customer Cup.
