So what is cloud computing and why do we like it? Well the cloud is just a metaphor for the internet. So really this is internet computing. If you’re familiar with the way gmail works, well that’s the same way you use the livepro® application. So you no longer need to worry about setting up servers and maintaing software, all you need is a web browser and an internet connection and you’ve got all you need to get started with livepro®.
Having livepro® sit in the cloud means that you never have to worry about upgrading to the latest version, or worry about backups, power failure and redundancy, technical support, all of those things that you have to concern yourself with when you host applications yourself are pushed out to us to manage, like we do for many customers.
